BEGANTO AND BUDDE MARKETING ANNOUNCE MARKETING ALLIANCE
“Point of sale reporting and tracking design wins
to the point of manufacture are two sides of the same
coin, “ says Mike Budde of Budde Marketing Systems,
in announcing a new cross-selling agreement with Beganto,
whose online software application facilitates tracking
component opportunities from sampling, through design
win, RFQ and purchase order, to the point of manufacture.
Sunil Grover, CEO of Beganto, agrees. “Both we
and Budde Marketing have built our businesses on the
principle that sales people need to get the compensation
they have earned for demand creation.”
“Our products are synergistic and non-competititve,” Budde
says, “so it makes perfect sense for us to share
customer lists and create referrals for one another.”
“There is virtually no overlap currently,” Grover
comments, “although every Beganto customer has
POS reporting needs and every Budde customer is seeing
product go to Asia and other parts of the world where
accurate POS data is just not forthcoming.”.
Budde Marketing has been handling Point Of Sale reporting
for manufacturers, primarily of electronic components,
since 1996, and currently processes monthly POS reports
for over 70 clients in the USA, Europe, and Asia. Budde
receives POS data from more than 550 distributors each
month, and processes over 2000 POS files for its customers
in a concise, timely manner. Industries served include
the electronics, electrical, industrial automation and
high tech markets.
Beganto, a newer market entry, offers an on-line demand
creation software suite, with a closed loop from the
start of the design chain, search, to the end of the
supply chain, purchase order. From facilitating and monitoring
component search and sample access for the engineer,
automating the management of new business opportunities
for vendors and their rep and distributor channel partners,
expediting the RFQ and purchase order process all the
way to the point of manufacture anywhere in the world,
Beganto’s system makes sure that OEMs get the parts
they need, and that sales people – distributors
and reps alike – are recognized monetarily for
their roles in getting and servicing the order.
