Introduction
Potentiometers are devices that help to control the flows of electricity through a circuit, this works as resistor which can be used as a voltage divider and its application is used in volume controller switches in a radio. A potentiometer has three-terminal resistor and it works as voltage dividers. With this user can adjust its resistance as per the requirement.
Its insufficiency is that of rusting or exhausting of the sliding contact, especially if it is kept in one position.
