Introduction
NEC Electronics has introduced a line of 16-bit devices that realize 16-bit MCU performance at 8-bit power consumption and give customers the benefits of flash memory, including shorter development times and the flexibility to handle necessary programming changes, which extends its line of all flash microcontrollers.
General Purpose Microcontrollers
No application specific peripherals are featured in general purpose microcontrollers, but they provide a rich set of peripherals that are useful for most applications.

78K08-Based
NEC Electronics offeres most popular 8-bit microcontrollers and include the new 78K0/Kx2 microcontrollers.
78K0R-Based
This product line features NEC Electronics' new 16-bit microcontroller (78K0R/Kx3).
V850-Based
These are NEC Electronics' 32-bit general purpose
LCD Control

V850-Based
This is a 32-bit microcontrollers that provide up to 5 CAN interfaces and highest computing performance.
Motor Control
With integrated timers, NEC microcontrollers are designed for the control of 3-phase motors, including BLDC motors and synchronous, asynchronous and other motors.
