Introduction

LED drivers boost a low-level dc battery to the high voltage needed to drive high brightness LEDs.
Aim applications for LED drivers include backlighting of LCD displays in electronics. As well, LEDs drivers are useful for backlighting keypads, camera flash equipment and illumination in automotive markets.
