Beganto's Advisory Board is composed of high profile, experienced high tech industry leaders: Naresh Batra, Martin Cooper, Harry Davis, Shailesh Mehta, CS Park, Sachio Semmoto and Kyung Yoon, and is chaired by Beganto Co-founder and Chairman Masami Yamamoto.

Masami Yamamoto, Beganto
Yamamoto, Beganto co-founder and chairman, is a leading angel investor in Silicon Valley , with over 30 years of strategic business development and operational expertise. His focus is strategic partnerships in the electronics and IT industries in the US and Japanese markets. His early-stage investments and advisory engagements have included Navigation Technologies (NVT:NYSE), the core technology used for Yahoo and MSN maps; InterVideo IVII:NASDAQ), the maker of the WinDVD series of software; Junglee, which was acquired by Amazon; and Paypal, which was acquired by eBay. Yamamoto brings Beganto his successful insights in Internet business models, long-term relationships in the electronic component industry, and extensive expertise in sales management.

Naresh Batra, Intelleflex
Naresh Batra is co-founder, president and COO of mixed-signal RFID semiconductor manufacturer Intelleflex Corp. Batra was CEO and co-founder of XaQti prior to its acquisition by Vitesse Semiconductor, VP & GM of Sierra Semiconductor, VP and GM of Brooktree (now Conexant), and spent 11 years as a department head at Texas Instruments. His experience in high tech design and development, marketing, and P&L management brings depth and breadth to Beganto's strategic planning.

Martin Cooper, ArrayComm
Mr. Cooper is Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of ArrayComm, Inc. Under his leadership, ArrayComm has grown from a seed-funded startup in 1992 into the world leader in smart antenna technology. Prior to ArrayComm, he spent twenty-nine years with Motorola. While there, he conceived the first portable cellular phone in 1973 and led the 10-year process of bringing it to market. He is widely considered as the father of the cell phone. He holds a BS and an MS in electrical engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Cooper provides Beganto with the perspective of a seasoned design engineer.

Harry Davis, University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
Dr. Davis is a professor at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. His main area of research is the application of behavioral science theory and methodology to the areas of leadership, strategy, creativity and innovation. Dr. Davis previously served as deputy dean of the Graduate School of Business. In addition, he has taught behavioral science at the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management in Brussels . Dr. Davis has an AB in sociology from Dartmouth College and an AM in sociology, an MBA in marketing, and a PhD in marketing, all from Northwestern University . Dr. Davis advises Beganto on matters of leadership, strategy, and team building initiatives.

Shailesh Mehta, Granite Hill Capital Ventures
Dr. Mehta is president and CEO of Granite Hill Capital Ventures as well as chairman of Peach Direct, a private label credit card company. He was previously chairman of the board and CEO of Providian Financial Corporation, an S&P500 company. Dr. Mehta is a trustee of Cal State University . Known for his philanthropic activities, he formed the Shailesh J. Mehta and Kalpa S. Mehta Charitable Foundation, which has given millions in grants to various institutions. Dr. Mehta advises Beganto on matters of network marketing and peer-to-peer adoption.

CS Park, Maxtor
Dr. Park is chairman of Maxtor Corporation, a leading disk drive manufacturer. He previously served as president of Maxtor. Prior to that, Dr. Park served as chairman and CEO of Hynix Semiconductor, Inc. (formerly Hyundai Electronics Industries). Dr. Park holds a BA in management from Yonsei University , an MA in management from Seoul National University , an MBA from the University of Chicago , and a PhD in business administration from Nova Southeastern University . Dr. Park advises Beganto on strategies related to Korea and the Asian market.

Sachio Semmoto, eAccess
Dr. Semmoto is founder, chairman, and CEO of eAccess, Ltd. After founding the company in 1999, eAccess issued its initial public offering on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2003. Prior to eAccess, Dr. Semmoto was a managing director of Kyocera, where he co-founded DDI Corporation. Dr. Semmoto's current board memberships include Network Appliances and SmarTone Telecommunications. He is active in the academic world as well, serving in the past as professor at Keio University , research fellow at Stanford University , visiting professor at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of California at Berkeley , and lecturer at Harvard and Northwestern. Dr. Semmoto advises Beganto on matters related to Japan .

Kyung Yoon, Heidrick & Struggles
Ms. Yoon is vice chairman of Heidrick & Struggles, International. She serves as a bridge between the United States and Asia Pacific and has been one of the key drivers in Heidrick & Struggles expansion in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, she was president of Benten Investments, Inc. Before that, she was president of Pacific Union Asset Management. Kyung serves on the boards of the Asian Pacific Fund, the University of San Francisco Center for the Pacific Rim , AAMA (Asian American Multi-Technology Association), and TiE (The IndUS Entrepreneurs). Ms. Yoon was founder of the San Francisco Asian Art Museum 's Korean Art and Culture Committee. She holds a BA in economics and French from Goucher College and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago . Ms. Yoon advises Beganto on matters of recruiting and corporate governance.
